What is an online strategy for marketing brands that’s inexpensive?

social media can be highly effective but not as effective if you don’t take the time to set them up correctly or you don’t know how to set them up. while still time consuming (due to frequency of posting and key word research) another route you can take is getting organic traffic to your site.

What is organic traffic?

Organic traffic is refencing the means in which your inbound traffic finds you. with organic traffic in most cases they find your site or link due to a search that is not aided by paid marketing.

Pro’s

  • low cost
  • high conversation rate
  • easy to close

because organic traffic typically are looking for what you are offering it does not take much for them to make a buying decision.

Con’s

  • time consuming
  • can be inconsistent
  • slow starter

with organic traffic you are not just worried about customer behavior but you are also contending with paid ads that are capturing the attention of the market.

mediums to get organic traffic(not in order)

  • blog
  • Facebook
  • website(direct)
  • Search engine(non paid) aka SEO

all of the above are slow going and can have up and downs. in order to really get the most bang from all of these they need to be supplemented by some other from of digital marketing.

  • Email Marketing
  • Social Media Ads

If you are only using one or two of these strategies than you are leaving money on the table. I don’t know about you but I prefer to take all my money to the bank!
